Let’s make some tea and explore how, together, we can move toward collective liberation.

We are a collective of learning partners, facilitators and yoga guides who focus on anti-oppressive and radical work.

We strive to invoke the warm and cosy feelings of sitting together sharing a cup of tea, talking, sharing ideas, laughing, exploring our identities and experiences. Simply being together.

At the centre of our work is a promise to be dedicated to a lifelong journey of learning. All areas of our work are intersectional and integrate a decolonial approach.

Hi, I’m Amy!

I’m a learning partner, yoga guide and facilitator working with individuals, communities and organisations. All of my work is wellbeing-focused and fosters a culture of learning centred on love, acceptance and joy.

I am a community builder and organiser, I love bringing people together in various capacities to work on something together. I am experienced in facilitating conversations exploring complex societal issues, inviting nuance and co-designing the next steps with the group.

At the Teapot Collective we strive for our environment and the work that we do together to be healing, joyful, full of learning, and the ability to be our authentic selves.

We infuse healing with theoretical knowledge in order to produce a more holistic learning experience. The process of collective healing and self healing requires us to understand the contexts and oppressive systems in which we currently exist and have progressed historically.

We embody an intersectional and decolonial perspective which includes much self-reflection and inward work. We support individuals, communities and organisations to embark on this process with care.

Hi, I’m Jay!

I’m an inclusive design consultant and facilitator for Teapot. Amy and I develop and deliver training together, and my focus is the accessible presentation of information using the language of inclusive design.

If you’re interested in seeing my work outside of Teapot, check out my website and instagram.

It is important that any person, organisation and community, including ourselves, are able to show up as themselves when engaging with The Teapot Collective.

This means that anyone involved with the Collective will continually address the nature of our collective spaces and how we are working towards equity.

The real learning occurs when we feel comfortable enough to freely express ourselves and shine through our authenticity.
