At Teapot Yoga we have three key pillars that underpin our work:
1. Embodying yoga as a liberatory practice – yoga is a living tradition that has freedom, joy and bliss at the heart. We practice yoga in its true essence for self-discovery, personal and collective liberation. We also take the time to critique and shape the practice of yoga itself so that we continue to make this practice inclusive and accessible to all.
2. Accessible yoga – ensuring that any person who accesses our classes can find a way to connect with the practice no matter their level of mobility.
3. Anatomy – we believe in embodied wisdom and we find that understanding our anatomy in intricate detail, from the mechanics of the breath to the way our femur bone moves in our hip joint, gives us the access to this wisdom. We learn more about our brains, how our minds work, how trauma impacts us, to help enhance our wellbeing. We become ultra aware of the layers of our existence (physical, energetic, mental, wisdom and bliss) – an essential step in the eight limbs of yoga.

Contemplate & Embody with Amy
Sundays 10am-10:45am GMT
This class is a meditation and energy work class followed by a short sharing circle. We focus on a particular energy, contemplate it and embody it through practice. Amy offers multiple ways that you can creatively connect with and explore the energy through the magic of yoga. Amy includes elements of yoga philosophy, ethics, social justice theory and practice. You’ll find that these sessions tend to be themed around what’s currently going on in the world, whether that’s a particular social justice issue, elements of nature, the season we are in, the lunar cycle etc.
Monthly Teapot Sanghas
Sundays 10am-11am GMT
This is a monthly community space that gives us the opportunity to integrate and share what we’ve learned about ourselves and our practice individually and collectively. Together, we hold the space with compassion and non-judgement, welcoming authenticity and curiosity.
