Teapot Solidarity Space
This is a weekly accessible yoga class for folks who care deeply about the injustices of the world. Yoga is a practice where freedom is at the heart. What can we learn from yoga in our movements toward social justice? How can the practice of yoga support us to navigate these deeply turbulent times?
We’ll explore a theme through movement, meditation, mantra, mudra and more.
We will offer multiple options for each practice, you can practice on a chair or on a mat. If you’re practicing on a mat please bring one with you (it can be a blanket or towel if you’d don’t have a mat).
Price: £7, £10 or £15 sliding scale. Please choose the price that matches your affordability no questions asked and there is no judgement for the option you choose. If these prices are inaccessible please send us an email to get a discount or free place.
Venues & Accessibility: Once per month we hold Solidarity Space in SPARK which is wheelchair accessible via a workable lift. Over February and March for the other weeks, we are holding our solidarity space in a temporary venue (Osbaldwick Montessori) for 2 months which unfortunately is on the first floor and has around 15 steps with no lift available. We sincerely apologise for this if this means solidarity space at Montessori is inaccessible to you. It has been very difficult to find a venue that meets all of our needs on a weekday evening.
From April 2026 we will be in our permanent home, St Aelred’s Community Centre, which is completely wheelchair accessible and all on one floor. Please do get in contact if you have any further questions or comments.

Strength & Stillness
This is a weekly yoga class on Tuesdays 6:45pm-7:45pm at Orchard Park Community Centre in Huntington. This is an integrated class therefore you can either practice on a chair or a mat. Amy will be giving options for both. We are focusing on warming up the body, gently moving through some strengthening asanas followed by an exploration of stillness, quietening of the mind, through a multitude of mindfulness practices from chanting mantras to working with energy centres in the body. We’ll dedicate time for deep rest and relaxation too.
This class operates as a sliding scale so please pay the amount that you can afford. The price options are: £6, £8 or £10. You can either book via the link below or just turn up and pay in cash. Any questions please let Amy know.
